Welcome to our Senior Project Website for Electrical Engineering Technology 419 and 420W. This Website shows the history and development of our group's Senior project. The project we decided to fabricate is an Ultrasonic Ice Probe. The Ultrasonic Ice Probe measures the depth of ice using Ultrasound. A possible application of this device would be a merely a low cost way for depth measurement of the Ice on lakes or other bodies of water traveled on by people.

This web-site will cover: starting ideas, design, prototyping, experimentation, component design, and final achievement of our project. We will update this site weekly to track our process. The project will be split into three stages.

The group will log all man hours utilized for the design and build of the project. We will also keep a budget of the project (keeping in mind that this project is unfunded by anyone but the members), and the group will try to complete the design and build economically.

*1. Scott Seroskie's responsibilities included SONAR Research and Background Development-Progress Reports-Test Methodology-Testing-Final Calculations-Final Adjustments.
*2. Robert Davies's responsibilities included Circuit Design-Digital Simulations-Parts Utilization-Build & Prototyping- Research-Final Troubleshooting -Web Design.
